A Day Away

A Day Away, Adult Day Care provides care for seniors who need assistance and supervision during the day. There is only a maximum of 6 guests at one time at the home, which ensures your loved one is getting all the personalized attention he or she deserves from an experienced and qualified staff. Fully licensed and insured, Adult Day Care is an innovative way to care for seniors. It is a place for seniors who need supervision and medication reminders, while allowing them a comfortable home setting for companionship and socializing with others their own age. The house is buzzing with activities, games, appropriately scaled exercise, arts and crafts and gatherings for delicious, nutritious meals. Full time, daily and part-time (4 hour minimum) care are all available. A doctors written permission is needed before admitting someone for care for the first time. The hours are 6:30 am until 6:30 pm, Monday thru Friday. They take evening and weekend daytime guests by special arrangement only.
