About Abercrombie & Fitch in Las Vegas
Abercrombie & Fitch has locations in these Las Vegas shopping destinations:
Fashion Show Mall | The Forum Shops | Galleria at Sunset
A lifestyle brand and the center of a constantly spinning cyclone of controversy, Abercrombie & Fitch is, in its simplest form, a clothing retailer.
The method Abercrombie & Fitch uses to sell clothing is simple as well, and a time-honored tradition: sex. A&F uses young models from within the company, posed mostly out of A&F clothes. Photographer Bruce Weber, known for his racy work commissioned by Calvin Klein and Polo Ralph Lauren, tends to shoot groups of half-clothed models to create highly charged sexual images. These photos go in the catalogues, the catalogues go into stores, and the stores sell out. Plenty of organizations and individuals have taken offense to the bold hedonistic message of the ads, and generated plenty of media coverage. All the controversy, of course, has served to boost Abercrombie & Fitch's sales numbers through the roof.
Since the 1990's, Abercrombie & Fitch has been remaking its image progressively more upscale. Prices have gone up, way up, but the clothing is well made. A&F products will last, and can actually endure at least some of the rugged activities pictured in their catalog.
