No blind shots, no hidden hazards, just great golf at great rates. The Boulder Creek Golf Club's Desert Hawk #9 Hole was voted "Best Par 4" by Vegas Golfer Magazine.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Desert Hawk Course

Desert Hawk 9 is designed and laid out through the natural rolling terrain, diverse and extremely beautiful. With a combination of oasis and desert themes, Desert Hawk allows golfers the chance to use all of the clubs in their golf bag off the tees and in the fairways. Providing opening and closing holes that have tremendous water features, this 9-hole layout presents excitement and challenges. Desert Hawk allows golfers to unleash monstrous drives and great golf shots on generous fairways. Desert Hawk will leave a lasting impression on golfers.

Hole #1
Par 4
275-437 Yards

A good drive over the right side of the bunker, should leave you with a short iron for your 2nd shot. Make sure you try to stay left of the palm trees with your tee shot.

Hole #2
Par 5
400-582 Yards

Left side of split fairway rewards players with a great angle of attack for their 2nd shot. Right side of fairway leaves players with great opportunity as well, but brings green side bunker into play for players trying to reach the green in two.

Hole #3
Par 4
338-409 Yards

Longer players may consider fairway wood or long iron off of the tee. Right is better than left off of the tee. Be aware that greenside bunker makes the green look closer than it is.

Hole #4
Par 3
111-250 Yards

The big ridge running across the green that will cause a lot of shots to roll back to the front of the green. If the hole location is back, take one extra club.

Hole #5
Par 5
399-553 Yards

Long wide fairway. Be aggressive with your tee shot. Beware of the arroyo running across the fairway on your second shot. Right is better than left for your approach shot.

Hole #6
Par 4
274-440 Yards

Keep out of creek on right side of the fairway. With a wide fairway, be aggressive with your drive. If the hole location is back right, aim for middle of the green.

Hole #7
Par 4
301-487 Yards

Split fairway- from front tees aim drives over the right side of car path in front. This will really shorten the hole.

Hole #8
Par 3
100-225 Yards

Big green; aim for the middle. Ball should move right to left after landing on green.

Hole #9
Par 4
300-480 Yards

Keep drives left of water hazard. Big drives can clear water and really shorten the hole. Be ready for long 2nd shot and be aware of the creek running in front of the green.

Coyote Run Course

Coyote Run 9 welcomes golfers with wide, lush fairways allowing for excellent playability and total comfort. With many arroyos meandering through the 9 holes, some of the most errant shots leave golfers with continuous scoring opportunities. While hosting a par 5 reaching from 635 to 500 yards, these 9 holes also offer a high degree of difficulty. Through smooth, subtle elevation changes and yards and yards of scenic natural landscape, Coyote Run offers golfers wonderful scenery and numerous golfing challenges.

  Hole #1
Par 4
284-419 Yards

Wide fairway, aim at bunker and let it go. Be sure to use enough club on second shot to clear greenside bunker.

Hole #2
Par 4
288-443 Yards

Keep right off of tee. Beware of large bunker in the middle of the fairway. Longer players may want to use fairway wood or long iron off of the tee; that should leave you with a short iron for 2nd shot.

Hole #3
Par 3
101-204 Yards

Hit it over bunkers; you should have a good chance to make par.

Hole #4
Par 5
444-579 Yards

Big drives may cut corner, but you need two big swings to get home in two. Good Luck!

Hole #5
Par 4
352-455 Yards

The fifth hole offers a wide fairway, let one fly here. Take advantage of the small flat green.

Hole #6
Par 4
264-402 Yards

Fairway wood or long iron will leave you in good shape off of the tee. Make sure you do not hit it too far into arroyo that crosses the fairway. Stay right with your approach shot into green.

Hole #7
Par 5
469-635 Yards

Long, long, long. Let it all out here! You will need three big swings to get on in three. Stay left on 2nd shot if you cannot cross arroyo.

Hole #8
Par 3
97-179 Yards

Aim at the middle of the green to take advantage of the right to left slope for a left side pin placement, and be sure to use enough club.

Hole #9
Par 4
312-469 Yards

Big drives will carry creek on left side. Fairway wood and long iron will leave you in good position on the right side. Just don't get caught in the middle.

BOULDER CREEK GOLF INSTRUCTION

Boulder Creek Golf instruction philosophy revolves around each individual student. Boulder Creek believes in teaching a golf SWING to each student that will maximize their individual ability level. Lessons have 3 goals in the following order:

1. Have Fun
2. Learn Something New
3. Apply Techniques for Better Results

Each instructor has a distinct style of teaching and plenty of instruction experience.

JC Video Swing Analysis System
The JC Video Swing Analysis System is a laptop based video instruction system that is a leader in their field. The portable system is set up on the Lesson Tee with a video camera connected to the laptop where video clips of the students swing can be viewed immediately with integrated graphics using the JC Video Swing Analyzer Software. The software offers one of the largest libraries of tour professional swings that can be viewed side by side with the student's swing for motion evaluation. Video instruction is a valuable tool as it allows a student to see what the instructor sees and why an adjustment is recommended. The JC Video System is only available for Full Hour Lessons but at no extra fee.

Golf Schools & Clinics
Golf schools & clinics can be customized for any group or individual. We do ask for at least 2 weeks advance notice in most cases. Fees for clinics and schools are on a negotiable basis determined by the needs of the group / individual.

Custom Club Fitting
Custom club fitting is offered as a service to Boulder Creek guests interested in upgrading their equipment. A fitting session typically lasts 30 to 40 minutes and costs $40. We will waive the $40 fitting fee if the clubs are ordered through the Boulder Creek Golf Shop. One thing to keep in mind about club fitting sessions is that it is NOT a lesson. Some techniques may be discussed by the fitting professional, but the clubs should be fit to your CURRENT swing.
