The Restaurants at Circus Circus
Rock & Rita's
T-shirts and jeans, rock & roll, and big gobs of flair sum up this party-atmosphere restaurant at Circus Circus. It all depends on the diners, of course, but Rock & Rita's pushes hard to provide a lively mood and a fun place to eat. The award-winning flair bartenders (sometimes called, in a horrible bastardization of the English language, Flairtenders) are fully professional bottle-throwing, drink-pouring madmen. Lunch specials are $6.50 so Rock & Rita's is, like so much of Circus Circus, cheap.
THE Steak House
It's well-known to locals that Circus Circus is as cheap as a Dollar Store bathroom set, is always crowded with kids, and hasn't seen a renovation in quite some time. That's why the delicious, elegant Steakhouse right in the middle of the action is such a surprise. It's handsomely decorated in the traditional Vegas steakhouse style: dark woods, white tablecloths. Whole sides of beef hang in a glass-enclosed room just past the entryway, dry-aging away. Visitors should be aware that the steak comes with no seasoning whatsoever, so the meat may not be flavorful enough for some.
Mexitalia X-Press
The bold fusion of Asian and Western food creates five-star restaurants and sends foodies into fits of jounalistic eloquence. The bold fusion of Mexican and Italian food, on the other hand, creates this food-court appropriate restaurant. It's reasonably fast, and reasonably priced, and all the classics of American-style burritos and pasta are on the menu. Open from 12pm to 9pm and located on the Promenade level, Mexitalia is well-positioned to serve tired tourists on their way from one place to another.
The Garden Grill
Open only for dinner, the Garden Grill serves a standard variety of cuisine from everywhere. Burgers and burritos accompany pasta and chicken teriyaki on the menu. The Garden Grill's main claim to fame would be the $12.99 prime rib dinner, which includes a soup or salad and is all-you-can-eat. Most diners will be happy with the price after just one prime rib, so if more are eaten, the Garden Grill will become one of the best values on the Strip. The quality is average, so this meal is best recommended for hungry, hungry tourists.
Circus Buffet
Suprisingly, the Circus Circus Buffet is not the cheapest buffet on the Strip. It's not expensive by any means... lunch costs $12.50 and dinner $13.50, but it's more than the extremely cheap Palace Station, Boulder Station, and Gold Coast buffets. Guests of the hotel will find the $25, all you can eat all day deal to be worthwhile, and the buffet area can be used for something as simple as grabbing a soda or an apple. It is a little bit larger than most. Kids will probably enjoy it the most, as the size and selection will keep them exploring for quite some time. Adults looking for delicious food might be better off exploring elswhere.
Pizzeria
A great location right on the casino floor helps keep the Pizzeria at Circus Circus packed. It's good food, but then, pizza is hard to mess up. The prices are Vegas-reasonable... around $17 for a 16-inch pizza.
Westside Deli
Pastries and sandwitches are served fast, around the clock. The Westside Deli is Circus Circus' only 24-hour restaurant.
Barista Bagels and More
Open from 6am til 2am, the odds of finding coffee at the right time of day are very good at Barista Bagels. Boyd's coffee is served, a 100-year-old company that was one of the first certified organic coffee producers. Barista Bagels and More is an efficient, delicious way to start or finish a day.
