Department of Health and Human Services Public Defender's Office Las Vegas
The Nevada Legislature has
created the Nevada State Public Defender's
Office within the Department of Health and Human Services to meet the states
responsibility to provide assistance of counsel to indigent adults in
criminal
cases and to indigent juveniles in juvenile court in those counties with
populations under 100,000 which do not create a county public defender
office.
