Endodontists are dentist who specializes in performing root canal therapy, also commonly referred to as pulp specialists. This field of dentistry is concerned with the morphology, physiology, and pathology of the soft tissue area between the tooth's outer enamel and the dentin(the human dental pulp) and the periradicular tissues. Endodontists are concerned with the prevention and treatment of diseases and injuries of the pulp and assosiated periradicular conditions.
