Among the traditional favorites are the lamb in curry sauce, served
with a variety of garnishes including spinach, green peas, bell peppers
or potatoes; chicken Tandoori with chopped tomato and butter; vegetable
samosa (deep dried crisp patties stuffed with spiced potatoes and green
peas); fish tikka (fish pieces lightly dusted in herbs and spices); a
variety of vegetarian dishes; and delicious naan breads -
teardrop-shaped white bread baked by slapping it quickly on the sides
of the tandoori oven.
