Island Style Las Vegas

| You won't find a kalua pig, but
this little diner brings some of the flavors of the islands to the
desert. The most popular dish is the combo plate, which includes
teriyaki chicken and teriyaki short ribs, fried eggs, macaroni salad
and rice. The meat is marinated in a sweet teriyaki sauce and is cooked
over an open flame instead of a grill. Other Hawaiian specialties
include fried mandu, a cross between won ton and a spring roll and Spam
Foo Young, an egg concoction made from, of all things, Spam, a popular
staple in the island |
