Malaysian-born Jimmy Choo was undoubtedly Princess Diana’s preferred
shoemaker, thanks to his handmade, elegant, satin sandals. When she
needed shoes to match a particular outfit, the Princess would call Choo
at his office and he would drive to Kensington Palace. Armed with
samples of shoes, colors, and fabrics, they would sit together on the
