I have to comment on this restaurant, having just recently visited my favorite state of Las Vegas, Nevada this is one of the many restaurants I enjoyed immensly.
Of course you need to enjoy Japanese cuisine, however even if you don't I have to suggest you atleast try it once.
My very first dinner at Koi's in West Hollywood, was about 3 years ago maybe more... with two of our very dear friends, I remember trying my very first crispy rice topped with spicy tuna and jalepeno, I fussed and said no way, I will never eat anything raw, and they said we know your fussy, but you have to try it, you are going to love it, just close your eyes....they were right, I was sold on this immediately...so much so that thereafter having gone to Koi's many more times, I would even order this particular dish to go!
But, of course there is so much more and so knowing that they had most recently opened one in Vegas, well we just had to try it for ourselves.
There were 8 of us and having made reservations, they had given us some prime seating, butI have to tell you, great place to bump into people...we happened to be sitting right across from David Caruso ( CSI Miami) who was just a very sweet guy, he gave us (females) all a signed photo of himself (great self promotion, and truly works)....we all love your show and character.
As we enjoyed a varitey of their special dishes, like the kobe beef, or the creamy rock shrimp and a fish dish that was to die for, I believe it was cod, just melted in your mouth like butter... aside from that the view of the Bellagio water show added to our wonderful eating experience. Don't forget the Sake, we had one that had a flavor, not sure what it was called, but excellent as well.
Of course this is a restaurant that I can personally say I will definately go back to, but of course please don't take my word for it, try it yourselves.
With a great dinner, star sighting and great views I can only give it my 5 star review.

Went to Vegas with some buddies last week and Koi in Planet Hollywood was the perfect place to kick off the weekend. Awesome atmosphere, great food and even better company. Our waiter seemed like he was personally ours. He even brought us these lime green drinks that looked like they were lit up, made with TyKu liqueur...Later on we saw the bottle and it actually does light up!! Awesome stuff. Everyone who loves sushi, or even doesn't, needs to hit up Koi Planet Hollywood!
