This megaclub destination is located in the Palazzo Hotel and is modeled to resemble an ancient European bath house. The name LAVO is Latin and literally translated means bathe to cleanse. The archaic Turkish dcor is embellished with models costumed as royalty being fanned by loyal subjects, human candelabras, models bathing in tubs and dancers in period costume on the furniture. A bench located in the club was a gift from the King of Turkey to the King of Morocco. Most of the decorative accents were manufactured by employees of the Moroccan Royal Family.
LAVO is a favorite among celebrity clientele and the best nights to visit are Tuesday (Industry Night), Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Industry Night).
Guests will encounter elegantly tiled arches that reveal a unique domed ceiling above the dance floor, conveniently surrounded by booths and tables. Elevated VIP areas contain lush banquettes decorated with embossed leather walls and mirrored mosaic tiles. Unlike most Las Vegas locations this hotspot seems to experience fewer long lines, congested bars or overcrowded spaces.
A main level and an upstairs bar provide drinks comparable in price to other Las Vegas venues, but rumor has it if individuals are willing to venture to the main level bar, drinks are made in larger glasses for the same price. Mixed drinks start around $12 and beer is $7. This is the only location in Las Vegas to provide Hookah services, and tables can be rented on the terrace for $100.
Certain days celebrate walk to the front of the line if individuals have printed tickets and ID.
