Hole Descriptions

Hole

1

Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 1
Par 4, 296-379 yards
The first hole at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is a straight away par four. The fairway narrows as bunkers come into play. Play short of the bunkers off the tee to insure the easiest approach shot. The green slopes from the back to front and has bunkers on the left and right. A birdie to start your round is possible here.

2
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 2 Par 4, 319-431 yards
The second hole at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is one of the longest par fours on the golf course. A well struck tee shot will leave you a mid to long iron approach shot. Be very cautious of the bunkers off the tee, as any ball that finds the bunkers will leave a tough if not impossible shot to the green. The green slopes severely from back to front. The bunker on the right of the green is to be avoided, as the bunkers on the left rarely come into play. Par is a good score here.

3
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 3 Par 3, 107-227 yards
The third hole is the signature hole at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club. This long par three requires an accurate shot with a long iron or possibly a wood and is tough enough to put fear in the swing of any golfer. Water guards the entire right side of the green, and any shot sent in that direction leaves you hoping to land in the pot bunker in front of the green. Once there the green presents you with some of the most challenging putts you will ever see. Par is a great score here.

4
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 4 Par 4, 284-356 yards
The fourth hole at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is a short dogleg right par four. Bunkers on the right and left side of the fairway force you to lay up off the tee. The approach shot is not so easy, as you find a two tiered green well protected by bunkers. Birdie can be made if you keep your ball on the same tier as the hole.

5
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 5 Par 5, 440-515 yards
The fifth hole at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is a short par five. A good drive leaves you with a long iron or wood to the green. If your ball finds the bunkers on the left or right off the tee, a lay up shot will be required. The putting surface is large and flat. This is a place to make up some strokes for earlier misplayed shots. Eagle is attainable, birdie is likely here.

6
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 6 Par 4, 314-435 yards
The sixth hole at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is the hardest hole on the golf course. This lengthy par four requires a long drive off the tee but the challenge is that the fairway narrows, so the longer you hit the ball the more accurate you must be. After that you have left yourself with a mid to long iron to a small green protected by bunkers. The green slopes from back to front and can be tricky. Par is a good score here.

7
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 7 Par 3, 132-202 yards
Hole number seven at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is a relatively short par three. A mid to short iron is all that is required on this downhill shot. The bunkers at the back of the green pose some difficulties as they slope towards the green. The green is large and flat making putting very easy. Birdie is a possibility but par is acceptable.

8
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 8 Par 4, 273-326 yards
The eighth hole is one of the most beautiful holes at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club. But dont let the beauty fool you. This hole can be one of the trickiest holes on the golf course. A mid to long iron shot off the tee has to find the fairway between a lake on the right and bunkers on the left. The approach shot is taken with a short iron to an elevated green that is protected with bunkers. The green has a ridge that runs through the middle of the green which makes putting a challenge.

9
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 9 Par 5, 446-571 yards
The ninth hole at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is a challenging par five. The hole is very long and has several obstacles along the way to the green, including out of bounds, water, and sand. A well struck tee shot needs to be sent down the left side of the fairway to avoid the lake on the right side. The lay up area is very narrow and requires an accurate long iron shot to give you the best approach. Your approach shot is hit to an elevated green with a wonderful view of the clubhouse.

10
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 9 Par 4, 303-404 yards
The tenth hole at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club looks like an ordinary golf hole. But dont take this hole lightly, as bunkers and rough wait to punish the errant shot. A well struck tee shot will leave you a mid iron to the green. The approach shot needs to be strategically placed, as the green slopes from back to front and left to right.

11
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 11 Par 4, 257-321 yards
Hole number eleven at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club presents you with a risk reward decision. If you choose to try and drive the green, you need your drive to carry 260 yards over water. If you choose to play to the fairway a long to mid iron is required, leaving you a wedge to the green. As if that decision isnt tough enough, when you reach the green, you encounter a treacherous sloping green with a sharp drop off in the center.

12
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 12 Par 5, 457-568 yards
Hole number twelve is the longest hole at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club. This par five is a three shot hole for all players. A well struck tee shot will split the bunkers on the left and right, which will leave you a long iron lay up shot. A short iron approach is what you are left with. The green is large, but bunkers surrounding the green make it seem a lot smaller. Birdie is definitely possible here with a good approach.

13
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 13 Par 4, 309-388 yards
Hole number thirteen at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is a short par four. The fairway narrows all the way down the hole. Bunkers definitely come into play on the tee shot. The proper play from the tee is to take a long iron and play short of the bunkers. This will leave you a mid iron approach to a green severely sloped from back to front. Par is a good score, but if you need to make up a stroke, a well placed drive could leave you a short iron leading to a birdie.

14
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 14 Par 3, 117-191 yards
Hole number fourteen at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is a par three. A mid iron shot is all you will need to reach the green, but beware, you will find water in the front, back, and left. The safe area is to the right, but a well placed bunker makes it a challenging hole. The green slopes severely from back to front. Par is a good score here.

15
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 15 Par 5, 434-510 yards
Hole number fifteen at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is the shortest of the par fives. A well struck drive off the tee will leave you with a long iron approach to the green, maybe even a short iron. If you are forced to lay up, the landing area is very generous leaving a short pitch shot. The green has a ridge that runs through the middle which could make putting difficult. Eagles can be made here, and birdies are almost definite.

16
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 16 Par 3, 199-212 yards
Hole number sixteen at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is a treacherous par three. A long iron from the tee must carry water. If your shot drifts to the left it will find a watery grave. If our shot drifts to the right a well placed bunker will accept your ball. As if this isnt enough to worry about, a bunker in the back of the green awaits a long shot. Par is a great score here.

17
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 17 Par 4, 315-432 yards
Hole number seventeen is a short par four at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club. A well struck drive needs to be placed down the left hand side of the fairway to avoid the bunkers on the right. This will leave you with a downhill short iron approach shot to a fairly small green. The green is fairly flat making all putts a possibility. A good place to pick up a birdie before heading to the challenging eighteenth hole.

18
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Las Vegas Hole 18 Par 4, 316-441 yards
Hole eighteen at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is a great finishing hole. This hole presents you with a challenge on every shot. The tee shot must be well struck down the left hand side. Avoid the bunkers on the right side at all costs, as a shot in the bunkers will leave you no approach to the green. On your approach to the green make sure you carry the meandering stream and waterfalls that lead to the lake on the left. The two tiered green leaves you with a challenging finish.
