Tryst Nightclub Las Vegas
Party by the waterfall.
Tryst can be much cooler than other nightclubs in Las Vegas, in a very literal sense, as gentle breezes waft in off of the waterfall and lagoon that surround much of the space. There's no swimming, but the ambiance is pleasant and beachey. The potential drawback is during July and August, when the ninety-plus degree summer nights will vaporize any available water, causing sticky, humid clouds.
Tryst is beautiful, of course, it's at the Wynn. Upon entry, the dancefloor is directly ahead, with bathrooms on the right and bars scattered all around. Part of the club is indoors, but much of it opens to a wide patio surrounded by water and of course the waterfall. Bottle service, as always, will ensure a more smooth night, but it's not necessary here to have a good time.
Getting in: be prepared to fight.
The long line will form by the velvet rope on one side of the wide, elaborate hallway, and crowds will fill the area. The line is disorganized, and entry is granted at the whim of the doorman. Best practice is to stay close to the rope where the gatekeepers can see you, and you will make it inside eventually.
Dress code: Casual chic, enforced. Don't wear a hat, and be very careful of sneakers and t-shirts.
