Blush
They call it a "boutique" nightclub, which in this context means "small." The baby cousin of medium-sized Tryst and the much larger XS, Blush Nightclub is closer to a lounge in size, but a cover charge is required and a DJ stays on duty all the time. The music is usually a blend of house, hip-hop, and top 40, depending on the tastes of the DJ.
Blush is beautiful, overhung with 300 lanterns that pulse in time with the beat. The dance floor is onyx lit, and a tiny outdoor patio grants access to fresh desert air. Most of the seats are fitted with small drawers, to secure purses or personal effects. Individual lockers are also available.
Dress Code: Casual chic. Jeans and nice t-shirts are allowed, but not if thry're oversized of baggy. No hats, no atheletic clothes.

Tryst
Tryst's five years open may not be a lot in other cities, but in Las Vegas it's bordering on being a classic, up for inclusion in the registry of historic places. The Strip changes fast, and the nightclubs change faster. The most happening club of ninteen-ninety-whatever isn't even a consideration now. So Tryst is enjoying a long season of remaining the tried-and-true place to go for upscale Vegas fun, while not being the new, experimental kid on the block any more (a mantle now worn by XS).
Tryst covers 12,000 square feet, some of it inside, some of it open-air. The main room with the biggest dance floor is covered, but it opens up into a wide patio overlooking a 90-foot, dramatically lit waterfall. Table and chairs, dance poles, and beatiful people abound, and the wait times and the crowds can increase quickly around the weekends and holidays.
Dress Code: Upscale clubwear. No wrinkled t-shirts, hats, or baggy clothing will be allowed.

XS
While not technically at the Wynn, the XS deserves a mention here. Located at sister casino Encore, XS is just a short walk from the Wynn through an enclosed, shop-filled promenade. It's the newest nightclub addition to Steve Wynn's properties, and the biggest.
XS, like Tryst, begins indoors but then opens up into a wide deck encircling a swimming pool. The water isn't deep, and splashing and frolicing is encouraged. Probably the most popular nightclub at the moment on the central Strip, lines and wait times can be long.
Dress Code: Upscale clubwear only.

Wynn Bars
B Bar
The B Bar, located just out of the Baccarat room, is the place to observe all the action on the casino floor while sipping mixed drinks 24 hours a day. Multi-games, costing $1, are available at the bar, but be warned: the Vegas tradition of comped drinks for those who play video poker does not happen here. Every drink will come with a price tag. |
Cabana Bar
Past the dividing line between the general-access and adults-only pools at the Wynn, the Cabana Bar serves drinks, deals blackjack, and provides seats to watch sports on poolside plasma screens. The grown-up pool is topless-optional, meaning that a few tops might be shed, but not in a boozy-spring-break kind of way. |

Parasol Up/ Parasol Down
Location, location, location. The Parasol Up and Parasol Down bars are placed right by the Wynn Esplanade shopping promenade, within view of the casino floor, overlooking the Lake of Dreams. Parasol Up is the upstairs part, overlooking the lake show but behind glass to mute the full effect. Scores of topsy-turvy parasols spin slowly on the walls and ceiling, and the seats are cushy and comfortable. At Parasol Down, the downstairs part, visitors can sit outside, relax with drinks, and take in the hourly Lake of Dreams presentation from a perfect location. |
