It was the dream of our founder, Tom "Big Dog" Wiesner, to have a microbrewery in the northwestern valley serving up high quality food and brews with a healthy dose of Midwestern hospitality". Mr. Tom Wiesner, a pillar of the community for 30+ years, passed away in June 2002.
This exciting addition to the Big Dog's family also includes the remodel of Big Dog's Draft House Barn and Casino.
Big Dog's Draft House originally opened in 1988 and is a favorite spot for residents in the northwestern valley. The bar area hosts 35 video-poker machines and is open 24-hours per day with various aggressive promotions for video-poker players. The restaurant is a popular destination for bratwurst, ribs, walleye pike, and other midwestern delicacies. A new and exciting menu is being debuted with the scheduled re-grand opening February 27 and 28, 2004.
