Get your hiking shoes on, your water bottles filled with water and your backpack packed with snacks here are the top 3 trails in Las Vegas:

  1. Fire Wave, Valley of Fire State Park: You best get started early on this premier hiking destination. A little over 1 this trail begins over a soft curve of orange sand and opens to a huge rolling stone. It is almost impossible to stick strictly on this trail as there are many side trips to explore and inviting stone hills. Enjoy the out—and—back kike that will take you through magnificent scenery that will leave you amazed.

  2. Ice Box Canyon, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area: Ice Box Canyon is just about 3 miles along the canyon floor and doesn’t have a great deal of elevation gain. Although, the deeper into the canyon you will find the bigger the boulders and more challenging routes. Ice Box Canyon offers a different perspective than other hikes in Red Rock Canyon. This is a true box canyon, dead-ending at a huge canyon wall.

  3. White Domes, Valley of Fire State Park: White Domes Canyon’s setting is surrounded by rolling stone hills, boulders, and huge rock fins. It has been the setting in countless movies, TV shows and ads. This hike is much like a slot canyon with twisting walls and some temporary shade.
