A dinner show can last up to two hours and beyond. That's a long time to be eating, so guests will need more than food. Maybe some entertainment would help, with comedy, thrills, mystery, interactivity, sleuthing, and a murder or two thrown in.
At Marriage Can Be Murder, tourists will find themselves eating, drinking, and talking with actors in the show. Of course, they won't know it until that actor falls "dead," murder victim of the unfolding plot. Unravel the clues, accuse the murderer, and walk away with prizes.
Marriage Can Be Murder is cheesy. The jokes rely heavily on bad puns and whatever it is that you do for a living. The costumes are just a bit over the top, and the actors don't take themselves very seriously. All of this corniness and broadness comes together in some really great, funny ways. The show is hilarious, and even the non-joiners in your group will find themselves suddenly part of the action, laughing and loving it. The horrible sight gags, the riffs on the audience, and the friendly actors work together very well. The murder mystery might fall under the "Nancy Drew" category... not to difficult to solve, but you do have to keep your eyes open. You'll find yourself, weeks later, remembering something a cast member mentioned in an offhand way during the second course, and slap yourself in the head: "That was a clue!" It's a lot of fun.
Marriage Can Be Murder is a cheap ticket for a Las Vegas show, coming in at an entertainment-per-hour value much higher than most other shows. Lasting over two hours more often than not, the combination of dinner, laughs, interaction, puzzle-solving, and prize-winning will entertain any group of friends on the cheap.
