Back to Mandalay Bay Las Vegas Dining
Red SquareLas Vegas Russian Restaurant
All the homey ambiance of mother Russia, recreated in the capitalist empire that is Las Vegas. Red Square is mostly a bar, though the restaurant part also garners rave reviews, and the whole space is blanketed in Russian history. No particular era is emulated, it's more of a hodge-podge of dictators, czars, and commissars. The cocktail list is long, and drinks can be enjoyed at the ice bar. For anyone unclear on the concept: The ice bar is a bar made out of ice. For patrons who enjoy even lower temperatures (Canadians and Dutch folks, I'm talking to you), a smaller side room housing another bar is kept below freezing at all times. Fur coats will be provided.
A recent revamp has boosted Red Square into hip nightlife status. A resident DJ, room to dance, and special nights with free drinks for ladies promote the late-night vibe that brings in the beautiful people. Wednesday is for the Ultra Lounge, with free admission for locals and one complimentary drink for ladies.
