Las Vegas Siena Golf Course

Surrounded by the towering Spring Mountains, Siena Golf Club features gently rolling fairways and artful bunkering plus dazzling views of the Las Vegas skyline. Designed by master architects Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt and owned by the golf specialists at Sunrise Colony Company, Siena is renowned throughout the Las Vegas Valley for its natural beauty and unprecedented serenity.

Siena Golf Club is a revival of the values and artistic styles fashioned by golf's greatest courses. What's more, Siena is a celebration of the Italian Culture. In the Tuscany-themed Siena at Summerlin, a focal point of the Siena Golf Club is Lake Siena, a quarter-mile-long lake with cascading waterfalls on the 1st hole of the golf course. The 13,500-square-foot Siena Golf Club features a full-service golf shop, locker rooms, multi-tiered practice facility and The Siena Bistro with a patio dining room overlooking Lake Siena. The elevated characteristic of the terrain provides panoramic views of the mountains and city lights.

At Siena, the variety in the routing and pacing of holes will keep all levels of golfers entertained from opening tee shot to final tap-in. Siena features an ideal blend of doglegs and straightaway holes, a mix of slender and ample fairways, a balance between benign and rugged green complexes. Yet without exception, the course offers a host of shot-making options and plenty of grassy bail-out areas when the occasional shot gets away.

Siena Golf Hole Descriptions

420 Yard, Par 4
The starting hole gently eases you into the golf course. Bordered to the left by the pristine Lake Siena, this medium length hole gives you a glimpse of what is to come. Hitting this well bunkered green in regulation is the key to a par on this hole.

393 Yard, Par 4
Nestled among rock outcroppings and desert landscape this tee creates a very dramatic setting for the shortest Par 4 on the front nine. A well-placed drive to the right side of the fairway opens the green on the approach shot. Take care to avoid the treacherous green side bunker.

562 Yard, Par 5
The big hitters will be able to reach this green in two. Accuracy is important on this hole. A good drive is placed between the deep bunkers on each side of the fairway. Take notice of the pin placement on this hole, the green is large and a three-putt is a possibility.

448 Yard, Par 4
This is a long, uphill par 4 requires a mammoth tee shot. With no fairway bunkers this hole allows the player to make an aggressive swing from the tee. The green is surrounded by sand and grass bunkers so take extra club on the approach shot to this uphill green. Be careful of the back left pin placement, only the most accurate players should fire at that pin.

159 Yard, Par 3
This medium length par 3 is deceptively hard to hit. Surrounded by water on three sides accuracy from the tee is at a premium. Putting is very difficult on this undulating green. While on the green take notice of the gorgeous waterfalls and palm trees that surrounds the tee.

405 Yard, Par 4
Playing uphill and generally into the wind makes this par 4 very difficult. Be cautious of the bunkers that hug both sides of the fairway. The approach shot is played into a large green with the mountains serving as a backdrop.

194 Yard, Par 3
Be sure to choose the right club on this hole. The green is long and has several mounds around the green. Bunkers guard this green in front and behind. A variety of shrubs and trees surround the green and provide a picturesque setting for this challenging hole.

563 yard, Par 5
Accuracy off the tee is a must to score well on this hole. This long par 5 has bunkers on both sides of the fairway. Your second shot should land between the bunkers near the green. Take extra club to this uphill green and take special notice of the hole location on this large green.

420 Yard, Par 4
This long par 4 demands an accurate tee shot. Water lines the left side of the fairway through the green. A safe play to the right fairway may encounter the deep, cavernous bunkers protecting the right side. This finishing hole of the outward nine will challenge everyone.

425 Yard, Par 4
Par will be a good score on this hole. Bunkers on both sides of the fairway demand the golfers attention. A gradual, deep depression between the landing area and the green makes it more difficult to judge the distance of the second shot. Bunkers surround the green and a large bail out area to the right is the best place to miss the green.

340 Yard, Par 4
Bunkers, Bunkers, everywhere! The length of this hole is deceptive, don’t let your guard down. A safe shot to the middle of the fairway leaves a short iron into the green. Notice the steep slope in front of the green. Any miss hit shot will find the bottom of this slope, leaving a difficult chip to the green.

506 Yard, Par 5
Two good shots will reach this green. Hit a big tee shot down the right side, avoiding the water to the left. If you lay up be careful of the bunkers in front of the green. A good third shot will leave you a great chance for par.

414 Yard, Par 4
This hole favors the draw player. The fairway bunker on the left is reachable from all tees and is best avoided at all costs. Left with a mid iron into the green, take note of the flag location on this large, sloping green. Par is a good score on this hole.

192 Yard, Par 3
Take an extra club on this long, uphill par 3. Play a fade to the left side of the green and use the natural contours to land your ball safely on the green. Leaving the ball to the right will find the deep and punishing bunker.

514 Yard, Par 5
The best tee shot is left of the middle fairway bunker; avoiding the water will put your ball in a good position to approach the green. It will take an accurate shot to hit this green. From the second landing area to the green is a minefield of bunkers and grass hollows.

323 Yard, Par 4
The shortest par 4 on the golf course requires an accurate tee shot. The deep bunkers on both sides of the fairway are quick to swallow any miss hit shot. The green is three tiered and requires a precise second shot. If you let your guard down, double bogey is a real possibility.

138 Yard, Par 3
A hole with an attitude! The shortest par 3 will punish a poorly hit tee shot. Notice the elevation changes from tee to green, this will effect the tee distance. This big undulating green will challenge even the best putters.

400 Yard, Par 4
A great finishing hole! A long tee shot is required to put the ball in the proper spot in the fairway. The heavily bunkered right fairway edge warns golfers to stay away from the right side. Playing the approach shot from the left side of the fairway provides the best angle to attack the hole. The green is bordered on the right by a narrow lake that will add to the excitement of this final hole.
