Mourning the death of Basketball Legend Kobe Bryant

As the world Mourns the loss of Kobe Bryant and daughter Giana along with the Altobelli family, thousands of fans wearing Bryant jerseys and chanting his name gathered around the Staples Center downtown to honor the legendary hero.

In Calabasas California, coroner officials worked around the clock to recover the victims’ remains from the hillside outside Los Angeles where the helicopter crashed in the foggy weather on the Morning of January 26, 2020.

The Sikorsky S-76 went down around 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles in Calabasas. Specialists didn't state exactly where Bryant was going, however the helicopter seemed traveled toward his daughter’s basketball event in Thousand Oaks where a competition his 13-year-old daughter Giana was contending.

In 2016 Bryant, the third the top scoring player in NBA history, completing two decades with the Los Angeles Lakers retired and held that title until Saturday night, when Laker’s Lebron James passed him for third spot during a game in Philadelphia, Bryant's old neighborhood.
