Du-Par's Restaurant and Bakery keeps things classic with the black-and-white tile floor, long lunch counter, and rich mahogany accents. It's how Las Vegas has done diners for forty years, so anyone with a memory past the '90s (not me) should find themselves right at home. The Golden Gate, where Du-Par's is located, is the oldest operating casino in town, and is proud of its history. Planted at 1 Fremont Street, the Golden Gate has seen every event in Las Vegas' life, and is still a rolicking part of the Fremont Street Experience.

Du-Par's serves great diner food. All the staples are there... open-faced turkey sandwiches, Tuna melts, chicken-fried steaks. The Blue Plate Special still exists, and the pastries, long famous at Du-Par's in California, are every bit as good here.
